Any Columbia Citizen is welcome to participate: browse the site, post comments, edit content, and create pages.
Site members have greater flexibility. They can update their own posts, send private messages, upload small files, and have write-access to some otherwise restricted sections. Members can use their real name or assume an online nickname. They can even adopt a small graphic, their "avatar". Membership is free.
Members of Columbia Citizens are empowered to invite other Citizens to join as well. The site is growing, and it only gets better as Citizens step up and take ownership of what interests them.
There are two straightforward steps to becoming a site member.
- First, create a wikidot account.
- Second, apply to become a Columbia Citizens member.
You should have a valid Wikidot.com account and be logged in order to apply for membership.
